While it may sometimes be necessary to drive a car, it costs us time, money and energy. How can you reduce these costs?

2008 Merrimack Valley Disabled Transportation Study
Draft Elderly Transportation Study
In 2008, the Merrimack Valley Planning Commission, with the help of the Disabled Transportation Study Committee, completed the the Disabled Transportation Study. The Elderly Transportation Study is the companion report that addresses transportation for senior over the next 25 years. Public comments on the draft document are due to MVPC by January 15, 2010. Public hearings will be held on January 12 at 1 pm and again at 7 pm at MVPC.

Operates regularly scheduled bus service that is available in Greater Lawrence, Haverhill, Merrimac, Amesbury and Newburyport with connections to Lowell. Commuter bus service to Boston. Demand response service that is open to the general public is available in Boxford, Georgetown, Groveland, Salisbury, and West Newbury. Other services for the elderly and disabled are also available. Runs Monday through Saturday. |
